Having manufactured aluminium strip since 1933, Bridgnorth Aluminium has firmly established itself as a trusted global supplier of rolled aluminium products. Our knowledge and experience spans many decades which is evident in the quality of the work we produce today.

Bridgnorth Aluminium produces over 100,000 tonnes per annum.
1933
Our company began life as Star Aluminium, a wholly owned subsidiary of Alusuisse, in Wolverhampton, West Midlands.
1950's
In order to meet increasing demand for our products, the current site in Bridgnorth, Shropshire was purchased .
1981
All activities were transferred from Wolverhampton to our new site in Shropshire.
1991
Our state of the art Litho Centre, still used today, was commissioned.
2001
Elval, a leading producer of aluminium rolled products, acquired our company from previous owner ALCAN/Alusuisse. Following the acquisition, Bridgnorth Aluminium Ltd was established.
2003
Our new hot rolling mill came in to operation.
2004
Production and sales of lithographic strip reached 40kt.
2007
Production and sales of lithographic strip reached 50kt.
2013
Production and sales of lithographic strip reached 60kt.
2014
A second casting route, multi-slitting line and R&D Centre were completed in 2014.
2016
The commissioning of our second Litho centre was successfully completed in 2016.
2021
Cut-to-Length line commissioned for sheet products.
2022
Viohalco purchased all shares in Bridgnorth Aluminium Ltd.
